DS Lite - First look!

Just played Ouendan on my Lite.

Those screens.... just ridiculous! I had to turn the brightness down a notch as my eyes were starting to hurt!

Such a lovely system. really well designed. The contrast with the old system couldn't be more dramatic - in fact I'd say it's as big as the step up from GBA to GBA SP.

Another great change with the Lite is the stylus, which is now much larger and more comfortable to hold, and easier to stash away too.

Has anyone got a white one and were hoping for a navy? I've got a mint navy here (no dead pixels) but was trying to get a white. If anyones up for a swap let me know

are the ones that are being shipped from P-A white ones? mine still saying preparing order. Tempted to switch to the navy one. Btw i ordered on the 1/2/06

Yeah, they're the white ones mate, but myself and NekoForever both ordered on January 26th, which was the day that they were announced.

Play-Asia are saying that they're getting a few in each week, but don't know how long it's going to take to clear their back-orders of Crystal White. They do have the other colours available right now though...

Alright... Got one of these bad boys on the way. I know I have to use my stepdown converter to charge it in the UK but am off to Italy for a week or two. Do I have to use the step down over there? If so can the stepdown be plugged straight into the wall?
I have no idea so any help is appreciated.

I doubt it mate, if you ask them to mark it as a gift then maybe. I payed customs on my PSP I ordered from them

Italy is still same voltage as UK so yeah a stepdown would still be required, if you had an adapter to UK plug you'd be able to plug a UK stepdown into the wall no problem tho.

Yeah, I use an RP90X from Maplins. ?5 and gets the job done.
