DS Lite - First look!

I ordered the 21st of Feb. A little later than most. I'm tempted to swap it for the ice blue version, not too keen on navy.

They didn't mark it down, no. Got ?38 in charges, but I'd bought a couple of games and things alongside it so it wasn't that bad really.

Update from YesAsia, if anyone is waiting like myself (I chased as I'm not happy watching Play and Lik posting).

Overall the DS Lite seems pretty good. I've noticed a few interface niggles*, like why cant i change the brightness on the go, or back out to the start of the main menu without shutting down and powering back on again? No-one seems about for picto-chatting, and i guess i need to get it online. Do i have a preference between -cough- different gaming handhelds? Each for its own purpose i guess. More play needed...

* might be "user error" / manual in Japanese.

Got my lite today and lovin' it to bits. However, I can't believe you can't change the brightness level mid-game. The machine is crying out for a little button (a la the sp) to activate the backlite. There's plenty of times when travelling when I need to boost and lower the brightness. Seems very odd that this wasn't included.

woohoooo, i ddn't have to wait until Tuesday, i recieved my DSL today was sent yesterday from P-A and recieved today. Its great to live fairly close to Heatrow cause my stuff comes in a day from HK EMS and UPS !!
