Got mine because of the arcade connection.

I got mine as I liked Sega and CEX had lots of cheap mint Jap games for ?5.

Glad no ones pointed out that this is the wrong section for this to be in as the DC is still a console that has games released on it and therefore not retro....

That's got to be bargain of the century. I bought mine yesterday - although I had one before, sold it, regretted it.

Same with Neo Geo. These arent mainstream though; we living in the underground resistance where DC is still alive and kicking.

Thats why i put it in this forum. Unless you like "vending machine pantie XI" and "chikan de densha II" then the DC has come to an end.
Of course there is still KOF!

Anyway thank god for so many good games. Still working my way through the list!

                "Day-tonaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!"

                That's why I got mine.

                "Checkpoint!"

Sega's brilliant arcade racer, bought on PAL release with console.

                "You placed... 1st"

Didn't really pay much attention to the DC before then (shame on me), but got into it in a really big way after that (US Daytona within the week ).

                "G..A..M..E..O..V..E..R.."

And it still gets played today... with its array of game modes and brilliant game play mechanics, it just doesn't get old. Played with the official wheel and thru VGA, there ain't much that tops that

Bought my Dreamcast, when it was going cheap with 4 games. I think it came with Sonic Adventure / Chu Chu Rocket / Nomad Soul / and a really crap game, which I can't remember.

I then bought myself Sonic Adventure 2, Quake III:Arena with the Keyboard /Mouse, Outtrigger, Bangai-o, REZ!, Headhunter, Mr Driller, Crazy Taxi and PSO ver.2.

My DC still lives to the side of my TV, and I try and complete Bangai-o (stuck on Level 39 boss). But for my first SEGA console, I thought it was fantastic. Still haven't bought a PS2, no need.

got mine because of gigawing, and general excellence of the machine.

sadly gigawing was not that good.... mars matrix was it nevertheless.
