Where's the impressions ? Surely to Christ somebody has had a shot by now ???

Does it have online scoreboard for the stage ? How many cars ? What type of cars ? What's the uphill track like ? How's the physics & damage modelling ?

This place is friggin DEAD today.

Can anyone summarise the neogaf comments? Websense is doing it's thang here

Sounds like DIRT runs 30fps, which is inexcusable for a racing game. (especially as the Rallisport games were 60fps on Xbox 1).

                      Here you go.

The framerate in the final build seems to be 60fps while driving alone e.g. proper rally and in super special stages (versus other car on different track).

While racing against larger bunches (buggies, lorries etc.) the fps seems to be 30.

Funny you should say RSC2 - that's exactly what I compared it to in my review I submitted last week

this is pretty fun, the demo seems pretty big also, playing as the Subaru and the buggie seem to have different tracks.

the best part is how much you can damage the car and the tracks, I spent the last 10 minutes seeing much I could do, my car with almost a lump of metal by he end and the entire tracks had the guard rails bent up and tires everywhere.

the graphics are also really nice, my only problem is that it seems to have a brown tint to everything

this is awesome, each car has its own track to race on, thats pretty big for a demo. the one with the Evo is a mountain track, that is awesome.

Holy cow! This is one very good looking game. I noticed that on the CORR race the game gets a little framey, but otherwise things are smooth. Very slick menus. Definitely some cool physics at play with the railings, walls, etc.

This game is probably the best looking racing game I've played this gen, and I've owned both a PS3 and 360. I only wish the online let you race against real life people on the same track.

Yup, it also felt very much like RSC2 to me as well, and in fact even better. And I loved the RSC games (I miss them so... but not anymore!)

The FPS aside this game has the most amazing sense of speed I've ever experienced. Downloading the demo right now, so rate the levels compared to some of the others in the full game, but when you're driving down a road with 160 km/t and trees and bushes everywhere, it's REALLY fast.

It's way better looking than Motorstorm IMO (reviewed both), especially because DiRT really has nailed the lighting and color palette so everything looks photo-realistic. I know Motorstorm is supposed to be a bit more cartoony/colorful perhaps, but doesn't compare to DiRT at all. And that's not even considering the awesome vegatation in DiRT, whereas Motorstorm has none...

quickly checked this out and its fun,

feels like Colin Macrea in the time trial and hill climbs, very forgiving and has that arcadey drift just right.

The buggy race feels new, a little softer in there handling but still fun & the graphics great tho.
The environments are a little of a mixed bag but the foliage is lush and damage effects are great.

The frame rate hiccups a few times but its a demo but its done teh job, this has gone from a game I was going to miss this year to maybe something I'll pick up.

Shame theres no mulitplayer features in the demo tho.

Looks ok but plays better than it looks. The framerate is not locked and does dip. Plays very arcadey but I may yet buy Sega rally revo over this

Does the UK demo have that annoying voice over through out the menu's?
