Its out tomorrow, I've got my copy coming from gameplay. I made a thread earlier about it this afternoon because no-one has mentioned it all here but it was deleted for some reason..!?

I'll post it up again tomorrow though with impressions since I dont think many people here are buying it.

Going to get the Hitman demo now.

Apparently the Dash update was suppose to happen 23rd may, suprise suprise though looks like its been delayed!

The information was taken from MS Knowledge Base which was there but apparently got pulled by MS said......

With the spring auto-update of the Xbox Live service scheduled for May 23, 2006, you will have access to the Active Download feature in the Xbox Live Marketplace

Each item that you download is downloaded separately in the background. This lets you continue to use the console while you download an item.

You can stream music, play DVDs or CDs, play arcade titles, and play games while you download an item from the marketplace.

If you start to play an online game, the download is automatically paused while you play the game to help prevent game lag because of network congestion. This helps you receive the best online gaming experience that the network can provide.

All downloads are associated with your profile. If a download is paused or if the download is interrupted, the download will resume the next time that you connect to Xbox Live.

You can add items to the active downloads list at any time by selecting more items from the marketplace.

Also it has been apparently said the update will also correct the option to boot when a game disc is inside the console, when switched on.
You will be able to turn this off, meaning you can switch the console on with a disc in it and it wont load the game.

Tried downloading Hitman demo an hour or two ago but it was actually not downloading at all, my connection was sitting at 0kb/s download!!? That happen to anyone else?

I sat with it downloading till about 1:30am this morning

Same here. I started it off at about 8:30 this morning, and it's still not downloaded. Weird considering I had no problems during E3. Perhaps they re-assigned all their bandwidth?

Yep they must've done because everything absolutely flew down for me during E3 too (I seemed to be one of the lucky ones).

I reckon it's borked - Has ANYBODY managed to download the whole thing yet ?

It's the closed down fair ground / pier training level. Seems pretty good. Nice and smooth - not sure if this is the same as the PC level?

In fookin drips & drabs it would seem - Been downloading that demo forever it feels like.

Took forever for me to download it too, seemed to originally hit 50% and come up with an error stating the download couldn't be completed. Retried with it from 50% and every 5% or so onward it would come up with the same msg. This morning, got it finished after about 30 mins tho.
