We were due a saints row demo ages ago.

Video doesn't bode well for it - nor the latest footage with the horrendous frame-rates !!!

I think they're going for an all out authentic GTA-clone by having the same frame rates as well.

Looks like we're in for another dashboard update, this time it includes background downloading ( at last ) \o/

At long last - all the need to do is disable autoloading of games when you turn the console on and Ill be really happy.

That's one of my peeves too - along with if you're playing a game on XBLA and you put a disc in, it auto plays the disc and kicks you out of your XBLA game!

Indeed that would be quality, there are a few things like that which would be useful. We should make wishlist

Now - I used to experience this but I popped a disc in yesterday whilst I had Hexic running and the disc span but then stopped.

So at least that's been fixed But yes - no autoloading from the dash would be a nice option.

And background downloading - thank Christ for that.

One of the changes I hope they implement is to make the game invite pop up look different from the 'Fat Bob is online' notification. When you're playing an intense game, it's easy to miss these and players think you're being funny with them.

I'd also like them to make it easier to change online status to 'Away' or 'Busy' and in some way make it clearer on the dash as to your status. That way, hopefully people will use it more and you won't be waiting a lobby, unwittingly inviting people that don't want to be disturbed.

Yeah, I like that idea - they are very easy to miss.

I do like that you can now manage friends via xbox.com - it's so much easier just typing the names in than using the virtual keyboard that takes bloody ages.

I hope they'll add some compatibilty for xbox games while they're at it.
