I agree that BB2 is great ... it's a very professional and polished game, but the price is a tad OTT ... 800 would've been perfect, then and now.

I've heard a Jericho demo is coming to the Marketplace this Thursday.

Free Halo 3 themes and Gamer Pictures from tomorrow for a few days. You have to click an ad link on the Marketplace screen.

Apparently so! PS3 version coming next week too.

I've been tempted by Bankshot many a time, vowing to wait until the price comes down, but I'm not getting it now. As pointed out in the comments thread on the Gamerscoreblog post - Microsoft are taking the piss. They've seen what effect a 50% price drop has, now they're 'treating' us to a 25% drop instead.

I'd urge people not to bother with this offer, tbh, more half price games next time plz!

I'm amazed you lot get so particular about the prices of games that only cost a few quid to start with.

Content: Crash of the Titans Demo
                Price: Free
Availability: Not available in Asia or Mexico
Dash Text: [ESRB: E10+ (Everyone 10+) CARTOON VIOLENCE,CRUDE HUMOR,MILD LANGUAGE] Bring on the Titans! The evil Neo Cortex has turned the creatures of Crash's island into horrific mutations! But by using a whole arsenal of new combat moves, Crash can hijack the monsters and gain control of their awesome powers. Intense new combat moves! Hijack and battle titanic monsters! Chaotic co-op action!
                Size: 530.76 MB

About as good as you'd expect. Just an amalgamation of old Crash with the bits others had added to "platformers" from the recent past.

Still linear with the odd arena/free roaming area. Seemed to be a combo/move system but I just spammed by way through the demo.

There is the odd nice touch but they don't seem to have added anything special.

Can you do the whole, putting the tiki masks on people thing, in the demo?

Yes, seems to be one of the main features. ;(

I'm serious, it's a great game and there's still lots of people online to play with. There's loads of game modes and the game is really well made. It takes a lot of practice to become good at it and unfortunately there is a problem with quitters in ranked matches but all in all I'd say it's still one of the best live arcade games out there.

I've been using a US gamertag alongside my UK one for a few days and have downloaded some of the Halo 3 goodies that MS UK has decided not to give us.

Is there any way to get the 360 to let me download the TV shows that are on the US lists? I can see them, but it won't let me download them, despite my tag being US and the machine local set to US too. I'm assuming it's doing a lookup against my ISP's region or something.

Any suggestions, this being NTSC-UK and all?

I don't think there is any way around that once you've admitted to Microsoft that you don't live in the US?

It seems that all TV shows/Films and stuff are locked.

                          EDIT:

What US Halo stuff have you been downloadoing?

2 themes and some gamerpics so far. Some cool sounding documentaries over the next 2 days.

So is it merely an S/N lookup since I first registered it as a UK resident?

Think they can tell by the IP address etc

Thought so. I suppose I could route the 360 through a US based web proxy. Don't know of any friendly ones but I dare say it's worth a try.

It's so frustrating to see all those vintage star trek episodes and family guy etc on the list and not be able to download them!
