Been hoping for a game like that ever since I got the console! Not that I'm much good at chess but I'll be getting that at some point just for that feature.

What are download speeds like for everyone at the moment?

I'll admit I haven't been on the market place for a month or two, but I went to grab the DMC4 demo and a couple of others, and speeds have been obscenely slow the past couple of days - It took several hours to download the demo and a couple of hours more to get 60% of another demo before I gave up on it - Tried over a couple of days and my connection has no other probs.

You know you can just leave it downloading and the console will turn its self off when its finished.

Just that Poker game this week, seems a bit pointless from screens/videos tbh

It got a load of hype and praise from 1up Yours a few weeks ago.

Yeah it seems quite anticipated but I don't see why, it looks like a pretty average match-three-colours type of game to me, just with a poker theme. The trial will tell all I guess.

Eagle-eyed fanboy MageGriff noticed that on the XBLM, under the Xbox Originals section, are three newly new game additions that are "greyed out". The three new Xbox Original games (all of which do not include Conker or Jade Empire) have a release date set for February 11th and include (trumpets please) Ninja Gaiden Black, Side Meier's Pirates! and the shoot-fest that is BLACK. Again, these three new Xbox Originals are not available for download or purchase until the 11th, but are pretty much a release guarantee seeing that they're currently viewable on the Marketplace. Anyone up for some 1200 Microsoft point Ninja Gaiden?

Is the performance on live still preety bad? It takes forever to sign in on my account, it just hangs with the loading logo on the dashboard for awhile. It should be instant im sure.

Mine has improved since Xmas, but still hangs for about two seconds on certain blades, online play has been fine of late though

Mine seems fine now to be honest, occasionally takes a little longer than I'd like with the old loading spinny thing but otherwise it's fine.

BBBBOOOOO!!!! I switched my 360 on at 18:52. It's still doing the spin-o-rama. Yet I can access my friends list on the guide button.

I missed Black first time round. I think it came out just after the 360 did, so I think I'd "moved on" by then. Be interested to see how well it stands up these days. Has anyone played Black recently?
