Fable II Pub Games coming to XBLA next week

Looks like it will cost 800 points if you haven't preordered the full game.

Mmm, still no mention of it on GAME's website. Thinking about it, I suppose to get the pub games free means waiting until the full game is released. There's no way they'll send codes out before as people could just cancel the pre-order. That must be why it's not showing up.

How do you find themes and Gamer Pictures for movies? For example I've found the Hellboy II picture pack via an ad space, but can't find its entry by browsing the sections of the Marketplace.

Was just browsing the arcade games listed on xbox.com and game across War World which I hadn't heard of before. Third person robot blasting. Release date TBA but I presume it'll be soonish seeing as it's on the official list.

That's been around for ages, totally forgotten about it. Judging by the official site they announced it for XBLA over a year ago. I believe it's developed by some ex-employees of Rage, who worked on that robot transformer rip off Gun Metal.

I tell a lie, it's by some ex-Rare (see my mistake?!) employees, most notably Morten Broderson who apparently developed the engines for a lot of Rares games.

That was announced aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages ago. It has also been up on Partnernet for ages as well. Not sure what's happening to it. Ubi were down to publish it at one point, not sure if they still are.

GAME were handing out beta codes with COD4 pre-orders and there was nothing to stop you cancelling after receiving the code. Would make sense to send them out as the main point of the mini games seems to be to raise 'cash' before playing the Fable 2.

Gamestop in US are doing a $10 deposit will bag you the pub game code/card, obviously the $10 comes off total price of game on release also.

Rumour is that those aren't multi region.

Enquiries with Game and Gamestation who are supposed to be the UK side of the deal have resulted in everything from "We know nothing about it" to "We are supposed to be doing this, but northing's been decided".

At this rate it looks like the UK won't be getting any free pub games this week


In other news, after the Summer of Live Arcade the next games out will be Shred Nebula and Pirates Vs Ninja's Dodgeball on 3rd September.
