Castle Crashers confirmed at Joystiq for 1200 points and releasing next week. I can see the 1200 points being more worthwhile for an online co-op title, just hope it's good.

Seems like Joystiq were wrong! The CC developer blog actually states it as a 27th August release date.

Haha. They say sarcasm is the lowest form of wit but, regardless, I believe Castle Crashers' price will cause less of a stir than Braid's did. We'll see. Least the rumoured 1800 points price was indeed only a rumour.

Geo' Wars 2 has set a bar for quality and quantity in an XBL game, for an excellent price of 800 points that other games should adhere to.

With the exception of Braid.

Force Unleashed demo is coming this Thursday.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed demo will be available for download via Xbox Live and the Playstation Network this thursday, August 21st.


The demo gives players a taste of one of the early levels in the game: the TIE Fighter Construction Facility, under siege by a Jedi General named Rahm Kota. The Secret Apprentice has been sent by Darth Vader to hunt down and destroy the General, but is also told that, in order to remain a secret, he is to leave no witnesses.


The demo also includes a tutorial which will teach you how to use your Force Grip power.

I recieved my points card from Tesco over the weekend. Talk about 'over packaging'. Why on earth do microsoft package the card in a flipping game sized plastic case?!?

You can't even use it for anything else! I just had to stick it in the bin.

MS packaging has always been terible. The controller packaging is the worst! I had to go to A&E after attempting to open it. (not really )
