I notice theres extra downloadable content availible for Samurai Warriors 2 before it's even been released lol. Ooooh Far Cry Demo? excellent, I love all this downloading demos lark, I got no money to buy games yet my 360 constantly delivers new content to play. ^_^

I couldn't agree more, the downloadable demo's are one of the best things the 360 has brought me. Not only is it great to be able to try games before buying but it's also great to just play them. I still play the Fight Night demo for instance, and I'm sure that if I didn't own them I'd play the DOA4, Top Spin and Table Tennis demo's a lot.

I also made a japanese live account the other day to try the Zegapain demo, it looks interesting really. Does anyone know if there are plans to release it in Europe?

Do you have to pay for a new account to get that stuff or can you just change your location?

You can make a silver account (free). Silver xbox live members have access to everything that Gold members have access to except for online play.

Yeah, to be on the safe side I made UK and US accounts too (my own is dutch). Here's a handy site that helps you set up passport accounts.

Arcade and the demos was what really made me get the console and it hasn't disappointed at all. Infact because of the demos there's games I want to buy that I'd have never looked at before - Fight Night, Battle for Middle Earth 2, maybe Battlefield 2 MC but the demo's enough to give me all I need on that one. I download em all, even the footy ones

Far Cry is a completely different game to what I was expecting, I thought it was a slash-em-up but I must be thinking of Devil May Cry Not impressed anyway, but I wasn't sure what the point was, I was just shooting people and driving around like in B2MC.

So I could create another 2 accounts that are silver for the US & Japan? If I wanted to download non-free stuff I'd buy points for that account in the usual way.

It can't have passed Microsoft's mind that people may sign up for other accounts in different countries to get hold of earlier content.

I suppose, since the region differences are there in some cases to protect people (dead rising etc) then if you are going to go to that trouble to create a new profile just to get it...well it's hardly going to end up in a legal case is it...

At one point doing this buggered your 12 month account, when the 1 month trial ended your 12 month also ended. It's been sorted now. I've had 3 accounts since it started, it's good, but not a massive amount of difference between all 3 - demo wise - lots more trailers on the USA though.
