Didn't know where to post this so I'll chuck it in here.
For ages now I've been moaning like a little child going `wah wah wah, why can't you turn off all notifications except achievements?, cry cry cry, I don't want to see Person X is online when I'm achievement hunting!..`
Well it turns out you can. Just set your status to busy and it doesn't show you anything except achievement messages and other important system messages (controller disconnects etc).
It never used to do this, I'm sure of it?

yeah but if i click that I forget ive done it then end up spending too much time trying to unlock achievements that have popped, with me thinking I failed each time, when I go back to gaming
