There's a bit of a difference between something being on offer for a single day over the Christmas break and something being on offer for a whole week.

This week we've got two extra pieces of content that haven't been reduced before and take the place of any repeats this week and next week, but hey, let's not mention that because it'll spoil the ill-informed whinging.

Ironically, if people had listened to you, they would have expected no more than a silly hat during the Christmas sales and would have missed the fairly decent deals. Hurrah for moaning AND getting things wrong in this thread.

I think that was perfectly justified. Wrong, in hindsight, of course, but still perfectly justified at the time.

I can't afford to buy billions of Microsoft Points, unfortunately. Maybe if I could, I wouldn't give a **** when things are overpriced or the ONE SINGLE OFFER we get a week has already been done before.

As I already said, Darwinia+ isn't overpriced. It's price (because it includes the full version of Multiwinia) is comparable with Steam.

And there's not ONE SINGLE OFFER this week, there's three, which makes up for he repetitiion this week and next.

At least if you're going to have a moan, get the facts staight first, eh?

Toy Soldiers ( http://www.xbox.com:80/en-US/games/t/toysoldiersxbla/ ) is going to kick off the XBOX Live Arcade Block Party on 3rd March apparently.

Perfect Dark, Scrap Metal and the Game Room also all feature in the Block Party...

Funny that - I finally convinced the missus that we could watch something other than crap soap opera's the other night, and low and behold the massively underwhelming selection of Zune films knocked it well and truly on the head.. Great. Didn't they have millions in the old video marketplace?

Yeah, our Movie Marketplace is a bit rubbish. It's annoying as the American Marketplace has a huge library to choose from and, not only that, practically every video, be it a feature length movie or otherwise, can be streamed instantly.

Perfect Dark for 800???????? That seems crazy from MS for once, if it plays as good as it's looking at the minute, it'll be day one purchase for me I think. I'll not even wait to buy it, which I did with Braid, Shadow Complex, Splosion Man, tmnt
