Found a pretty fantastic combo on DW:G!
Try X, X, Y, Y, A, X, X, X. Double slash into a rising strike, followed by a falling strike, followed by an M. Bison Psycho Crusher Special™ into double slash.
Carnage.
Personal favourite is just X, X, X, Y though.
The thing is, you can link your SP attack anywhere in the combo, so if your gauge is fully charged, you can do X, X, Y, Y, A, X, X, X, B, and pretty much just annihilate everything in sight.Last edited by Silvergun X; 02-08-2007, 12:40.

Having gone through the menus a little bit more of the demo, it turns out there's actually a chart which explains the different combos and chains of attacks that you can pull off.
It's very easy to get used to, and the basics of it are that your main X attack can be linked into a charged Y attack at any time mid combo. If this charged Y attack hits, you can link it with a dashing A attack. The charged Y attack differs depending on when you use it. X then Y will do a forward firing beam attack that pierces through enemies, X, X, Y will do a rising sword before slashing downwards, and X, X, X, Y will do a dual gun attack, Dante style. All of these charges attacks if they hit, you can just link straight into about 3 or 4 more dashing hits.Last edited by Silvergun X; 02-08-2007, 15:14.

I'm completely hooked on Spyglass Boardgames and already consider it the second best XBLA release after Geometry Wars. Shame there's no 2D option for Chess but least there's a selection of boards and pieces to choose from and being able to rotate the board means there's no excuse for not knowing what pieces are where. Have already played a number of some very tightly matched Chess games and am really enjoying Checkers and Reversi too - despite being ****ing awful at the latter. ****, I even woke up half an our earlier this morning so I could get a quick game of chess in before leaving the house.

Still played a lovely game of chess earlier, I was so strategic without knowing it =)

I've not experienced the glitch yet but, knowing that, will stick to ranked games until it's patched. Speaking of which, they desperately need to patch the game so quitting mid-match hands victory to the other player as I've lost count of the number of people I've played who quit once the match started slipping away from them.

I played it for a bit and then deleted it. It reminded me of Ninety Nine Nights.

The one released on launch, is a much, much poorer game apparently.
