So has anyone else, months later.... Totally not got used to the name?

I was reading some thread where someone posts pictures of the Wii, you know... a white box on a stand, and everyone gushes about how awesome it is. One guy said "I just can't get enough of the white wii". To me, still funny.

If I want Mario Galaxy it wouldn't stop me buying it, but you know..

The more I read and talk about the wii then more normal it sounds. Occasionally it still brings a smirk, but mostly the thought doesn't cross my mind.

I was listening to the IGN weekly podcast yesterday and they were going on about Nintendo already being in full production of the Wii because its so similar to the GC, then one of them said something like "So you have these factories that used to make Gamecubes, and you just say to them, OK start pumping out Wii"
At which point I fell about laughing.

I'm getting used to seeing it written - but not said. Still gotta be carefull when saying it.

Its still the revolution in my gaff, but my housemate still says Ultra 64 so i wouldnt put much stock in what we say.

Im sick of waiting for the revolution, sorry Wii, i found myself playing along with Wimbledon with my SKY remote the other day. I beat Federer, btw

GAME have done a feature on the Wii & yes that controller can be used as seen in the various sports games shown!!!

Looks like the Wii is gonna be the 1st of the next gens I'm gonna get!!

I cant wait to get my hands on 1!!!

apparently nintendo have hinted that the Wii would be region free, although that article does seem to take what the guy said out of context.

Region free Wii? would that mean that the backwards capabilities with the GC be region free also? if so nintendo have my money

The question appears somewhat misunderstood, as the full extent of Kaplan?s response would suggest that she was in fact talking about keeping the online play aspect a region free experience.

i wouldn't be suprised though if the Wii was region free, its just a gut feeling. Nintendo have already said they are not trying to compete with Microsoft and Sony with the Wii, i believe they will do what they've done with their handheld sand make the console region free. Its just a feeling
