Pre ordered a PAL one from GAME. WIll be getting Zelda for sure, but the staff in two branches of the store confirmed that Wario Ware is going tobe available on launch day so will score that as well. I am so excited. Will be the first time I have ever had a console on launch day!

Is Metroid a US launch title? Talk in the games GameFAQ's forum suggests it's not, not that it's a reliable source.

              Nope, it's out next year.

Well it looks as though I'm gonna have to sell my wavebird because although the Wii takes GC Pads the WB connector is gonna be blocking the disc slot, meaning you'll have to be unplugging/plugging it in constantly.

Eh? GC pads connect in a covered compartment at the top of the unit.

The wavebird recievers still fit onto the wii & they dont block anything.

                      No. Just no.

Wavebird recievers will not get in the way of anything.

The big question for me though is can you still use GC controllers, Wavebirds etc to play virtual console games?

Don't see why not. The d-pad is far too small though.

I suspect it'll let you use the analouge stick as a dpad
