In all honesty, i've not played a game that matched Half Life 2 and it's expansion. Both incredible in terms of gameplay, sound and art direction making you smile when you play it and feel nervous/scareds at the same time. I've played games which are great though, such as ICO, God Of War, Tetris, Super Mario 64 and the other usual suspects, but valve have my award for their sterling effort.

If we're rating a game with whole numbers only, then a 10/10 mark can be awarded to any game deserving 9.5/10 or above. That leaves something like a 0.5/10 margain of imperfection!
So the idea that a game needs to be 100.00000% perfect in order to get full marks on a one-to-ten scale is, imo, rather daft.
