Thing about the 360 is there's so much more to Live than multiplay - I've not played a multiplayer game on Live since launch. It's the rest of Live, everything you see on the dashboard, that does it for me. It's something Sony are trying desperately to keep up with with PlayStation HUB.

... I was very impressed by what Microsoft has done with its involvement in the games industry with Xbox1.

Like Shakey_Jake says, it's the other aspects of live which are wonderful. Demos, seeing what you're friends are up to, gamerscores etc. It all feels so natural.

On topic, I bought it cause it's the latest console. My aim is to own all 3 consoles this gen, so I had to have it. Plus you can play Oblivion on it

I got a 360 because I found the PSP arse-bleedingly dull. I traded it in at easter and I'm so glad I did it.

          Current games are:

          DOA4
          Oblivion
          PD0
          PGR3
          Table Tennis

PD0 is a bit average but I'm pleased with a quality collection so far

I liked original xbox alot, even when i picked up my third at the beginning of the year i went through about 25 games (all completed too) So it was a easy decision to pick up a 360.

At the moment i'm playing more on my DS than anything, but i have played a fair few 360 titles (well into double figures) and only a few disappointments.

At launch i picked up PGR3, PDZ and Kameo, and my brother got his (courtesy of me) at Christmas with RR and COD2, i never liked the whole war thing but COD2 won me over big time.

Waiting for Oblivion. Then it crashed a lot.

Now I'm waiting for the next killer title to come along (hopefully more stable) to underscore why I bought the 360.

Actually, that's harsh. Although I haven't been able to get online with it for months, Live implementation is magnificent.

I guess I remain completely uninspired by the next-generation still. Hopefully 2007 will mix things up a bit.

Kubrick - Excuse my ignorance but what game is that? Looks brilliant

I got mine because I downloaded the Hitman demo for my PC... the main menu ran at 1frame per second... I thought at that moment that I'm never playing a real game on my PC ever again.

And I still haven't bought Hitman... doh!

The secondary factor was that it would work in my PC monitor (which is Wide screen) and tertiary factory was that the Japanese version cost myself ?150 inc... which was just *zip* bought

I like my Xbox and the 360 was a natural progression for me as I've never been fussed about the PlayStation, but Gears of War got me the most interested and then I saw the Halo 3 Announcement on the Marketplace and I was more excited about that than I thought, and I enjoyed the first two. Then there's 360 Live which is brilliant, except I don't have enough time to make proper use of it.

Got it because i had money to spend....its ok, no where near as good as i thought it would be though, some of the games look like 2-3 year old pc games.

Seems everyone is holding out for gears of war and halo 3, apart from that i cant really see any completely triple A killer apps in the pipeline tbh.

I got mine because i wanted to play my mates over LIVE.

Oblivion, RR6 and Battlefield 2:mc are must-haves, with massive longevity (important when games are still over ?35 with discount)

The main reason though? an inkling that most of the ps3 must haves would creep onto the machine at some point, with Assassin's Creed being confirmed for the 360, i have no need for a *cough* ?425 ps3 at all now

Ghost Recon AW, fantastic, sold the box shortly after for lack of quality titles.

Though now I'm tempted to buy another thanks to Dead Rising.

Proper online gaming in my living room, and the PS2 and GC had been dieing a death for months even before the launch. Hi def gaming in 5.1 also was a big attraction.

Then I saw pics of Ghost Recon and PGR3 and I had to buy it.
