To make things easier, it is basically games that don't have 60hz and games that don't suppport 480p.

Those are all the ones that don't support VGA

Just tested ghost recon 2 and fable

Ghost recon 2 - Not supported over VGA

Fable - Is supported over VGA although is shown in 4:3 rather than widescreen

Forza works if you set to 640x480 non widescreen - has some frame rate issues though...

The Punisher works on VGA (unsure of resolution). I recommend it highly too, especially if you're a fan of marvel comics.

Jade empire is fine too, another quality title, although that one isn't in widescreen.

Grr. If MS would just lets us play 50Hz games over VGA, given a lot of HDTV's do support 50Hz (and interlaced, in fact) over VGA, things wouldn't be this complex.

I think we all know Halo 1 PAL does not work, nor does Doom 3 PAL.
