    Texas Hold Em - XBLA

Posting from my phone, so hopefully this'll go okay! I gave this a quick go this morning, free, so it's rude not to. The interface is nice, and best of all the game is pretty quick to play unlike some of the 'full' versions of poker. Can't wait to take it on live tonight!

I'm up $1267!!! Kicking ass on a table of Americans! My mate used to be a croupier many years ago, must've picked some skills up off him!
I asked this on another thread, what happens when you run out of money?

So is it easy to get a game on live or does it suffer Uno and street fighter trouble when looking for a table?

You can go to a cash machine - but as your bankroll is tied to your gamertag, you can go into negative balance - this then prevents you buying into higher ranking games becuse you don't have the cash to cover it, essentially eliminating the idiots that'll go all in all the time when they don't really have a playable hand, or any idea how to really play.

I'm stuck at work in Leceister racecourse of all places and you guys are all making me desperate to get on live, sounds like a riot! Does the singleplayer have any link to the online mode? I went all in on my first hand to see how it would play out. I lost..

Won a cool 5900 quid in one hand, my first hand as well. Everyone else was gutted.

Crimson, I did that by mistake as well...lost $600 very quickly.

I'm down an awful lot already, but not in the negatives...seems the computer is better at knowing their hand than I am...

Ive been playing the ranked tournements atm, there free buy in so no risk but you can win alot of money and enter into the larger events where the real poker begins although my mistake in single playe has taken that ballance down to 400

That doesn't sound good - maybe it's implemented that way to stop people turning their machines off mid game when they're losing big time.

Yes, I did that in single player. Three times. I am a noob as I now have no money left at all... Very very dull. If i deleted it and re-installed would I get my inital money back?

Oh dear. I am officially broke and can only buy in on a crummy 150 table now. Balls to that. Must learn to not switch off consoles in a rage after my own stupidity...
