I ain't seeing much evidence of this "persistent bankroll" malarkey producing much in the way of "real poker", cos everyone was just betting like crazy with 3-outs on the river, and all sorts of crap.
I waited for a decent hand, flopped a full house, went all in and predictably got called by the low pair and a king-high. Hello 150K and the 100K achievement.
That happened to me. I played a lot of one player when getting back from my mates house, learned a bit of patience like, although that didn't matter as I was dealt two aces when the pot was at $150k on my first hand.

That sort of made up for the $9k I'd been bummed for earlier in the night.

I lost a fair chunk with a pair of pocket rockets ( 2 aces in the pocket ) with nothing worthy on the board last night due to some lucky chancer whose card came up on the river :/

I'm up on my bankroll overall though - I haven't played any of the bigger money games yet mind.

It's a decent game overall - but there are a couple of issues - the biggest being having to wait for the big blind before you can join the table.

I have a question about this game, I hope it's okay to ask it in first play.

Say I wanted to host a virtual poker night with 7 other mates, playing for real money - we've already decided on the ratio of mapping the game's chip value into real money, and we want to play so there's one winner - who ultimatley gets paid by the other 7 players (say a tenner each) after he/she wins the table.

          Is there a way to:

          a) Lock the table so no-one other than the invited players can enter?

          b) Once someone loses all their chips - allow them to remain at the table as a spectator for the remainder of the game (or until they leave of their own accord)?

just you... sat playing last night to the sneaker pimps and was almost too laid back to care about chucking silly bets in all over the place.

              a) Yes, on the Competitive Match option you can create a table and set the places to private on each of the seats.

Dunno about b - I've not seen an option for this.

I hope there is - "a" sort of leads on to "b" really - if you want to play it as I described.

Surely it would be simpler to use an actual poker site, especially if you want to involve real money?

Possibly, I played a tournament last night & could stay in until pressing the "a" or "b" button, not sure about it though as I pressed it by mistake and left!

nige might be the one to ask...

we tried it last night and when you're out the only oprion you have is to leave the table. Im not sure if this holds up the game or whether you can still hear people or not.

                        A) when you set up a player match you can set the number of "privite" spot meaning you have to invite you friends into the game

                        B) sorry dont no i dont think its possable though

You could play $1 = 1p also. So a $1,000 buy in is actually ?10.00

                            timing!

when I went out all I had was a darkened screen and the message to leave the table. Could you still hear us?

This game is screen burn just waiting to happen !!! I presume the fact it tilts the table is to negate that but the portion with your gamerpic doesn't move does it ???
