I lost a fair chunk with a pair of pocket rockets ( 2 aces in the pocket ) with nothing worthy on the board last night due to some lucky chancer whose card came up on the river :/

I'm up on my bankroll overall though - I haven't played any of the bigger money games yet mind.

It's a decent game overall - but there are a couple of issues - the biggest being having to wait for the big blind before you can join the table.

just flick between the 360 guide,that will sort it.

One other thing I noticed last night - If you're playing and you open the guide, don't use B to return to the table - you'll fold !!!!

Yea i could see that being a problem.Even in HD the text is small but readable.Shame it's no way near as sharp as UNO,which looks really nice in HD........for a card game

I noticed bleeding from red cards on my LCD which I was not happy about at all - only this game.

it looks fine on my t.v (however, it's a 50" monster, would be impossible not to be able to read them)

yea,there's bleeding on pretty much every color in this game,it's pretty rank.I changed my enviroment to the blue table and it actually looks alot sharper.The default table looks nasty!

Put it on again and had some decent games where people were playing fairly normally and I managed to get my bankroll back up to only -?300,000 now!


EDIT:

And now I just played some tournaments for the first time, alot better there. Decent players having a good laugh and betting properly.

Finished 4th then 3rd. So I've got my bankroll up to ?2800 for that one, I'll be playing this is future now. Seems to be where the best games are.

Having some fun with this, never interested in poker before but it was free and my poker loving friend was coming to stay for a couple of days so I downloaded it. Thought I'd just be watching her play but been having great fun playing myself.

Lot of cocks about that talk bollocks constantly though, and they're the British ones! I don't plug the mic in at all, talking + poker doesn't mix for me.

I'm noticing how "blurry" the game is in SD. First game I've noticed specific problems in SD though, it's not even as if the writing is smaller than other games I've played even on older consoles. Guess the font is just too fine to be clear and probably just aligned wrong for 640x480 if that makes sense, kinda half on 1 pixel half on another or something making it less sharp/bright than it could/should be.

I dunno if anyones already posted, but I notice a rediculous (if slow) way of building up your single player bank roll is to just constantly play Xbox Live Arcade sponsored games, bet rediculous amounts (or even just wait til you're just in credit) when the computer goes in, and every time you win a decent amount of money, just leave the table and restart, pocketing the money you won with absolutely nothing to lose in the next hand.

Seems a silly oversight, I'm surprised they don't just force you to play with your own money once u have earned so much.

I find it hard to tell the difference sometimes between hearts/diamonds and spades/clubs in SD. Still, glad I got the 25" telly in the moving out custody discussions or I'd be stuck with my Mum's 14" And to think I didn't give a crap about HD before, now I'm secretly lusting after one...
