I updated OK, no problems! w00t! I had a go on Wii Sports first though, imagine if I'd bricked it before even playing.

It updated the first time, and I was pretty panicky, but then it was successful so there was a sigh of relief. Then I went into the shopping channel and it asked for another update! That, luckily, went through without a hitch too. Tense though. They should release a Wii Update survival horror game

Anyway, went into the shop channel, told them I was Canadian, and redeemed a points card. Then I bought Mario 64 and now my nephews next to me playing it.

I'm loving the Wiimote and the system (it a cracking piece of hardware through and through) but Jesus Christ, Composite is fecking awful.

I mean, really awful. It's like someone's slapped a load of Wintergreen in my eyes

Just eBay one mate. There were over 10,000 consoles on the last time I checked. There are so many that it's pushed the price down.

That's exactly what I did. DVDBO's random shipping is a joke. Got one on eBay last night and should have it Tuesday at the latest.

I won't ever use DVDBO again.

Chill man - I'm in exactly the same position as you. Zelda + Wii right? I think we're within a few spaces of each other in the queue too

Having said that, I will get a bit concerned if I don't get an email tonight!

Thanks man - a few of us in the same boat it seems I know VG+ are totally overloaded an all, but it's not stopping me from keeping Outlook Express and pressing the Send./Recv. button every 30 seconds o_O

I'm sure I read in a previous post VG+ were gonna ship them yesterday whether they received Zelda or not. I'm a few spaces before Shakey Jake in the VG+ queue. I've already contacted them and no reply so far, I guess they're quite busy.

I placed my game order separate from the Wii order, but I don't know why they are insisting on shipping them together.
