US Wii: Preorder Details Thread

Could folks who have had their Wii's shipped from DVDBO kindly post their order dates? I ordered on 29th September and am hacked right off that I didn't get one from the first batch.

I WAS 1693130 and ordered on the 21st September and was told I wouldn't get one at launch so I think you're on to plums for a few weeks mate.

Don't know anyone who's got one from DVDBO yet....

A guy on avforums received one from them a week ago today - he ordered in October. The shipping order for Wiis appears to be random.

This is everything:

Apparently first of all, my Zelda has not shipped. Anyone thats ordered gaems and accessories with their console, they are getting shipping confirmatinos but that actually means they are being put into a box ready to go out with your Wii. So if you have shipping confirmations for Wii stuff, it doesnt mean it has been shipped. Just its been put in with your Wii.

He said they are all definately going out tonight and they are expecting them to arrive in uk by 2am and then take approximately 1 day to clear customs (he says they found out they got a 1 day turnaround in customs for them). He then told anyone that wants to call them tomorrow to get theri tracking number off of him.

He says Wii's should be with us on Wednesday.

Also... good news. He says if we end up with consoles that dont work on line with the error he said we can send them back to IM and not have to deal with Nintendo. They'll replace the consoles and sort it through Nintendo themselves. And we'll only have to send otu consoles back to the UK warehouse and get one shipped back to us straight away after its recieved there.

He also said they're getting a HUGE shipment of Wii's in on Friday to open up orders again. So I'm pretty sure everyone that ordered from IM up until now will be getting one shipped tonight.

I'm in the 000006826X group of order numbers and he said it should be shipped out before the end of the day. They're literally shipping Wiis out right now.

So it's all good

How long is a trans-Atlantic flight? That gives them 7.5 hours if they're on a plane RIGHT NOW

It'll be Thursday then, I think he means 2am Canadian time, which would be early morning Tuesday for the UK - another 24hrs to clear customs = Wednesday morning before they're picked up by t3h courier for next day on Thursday. Give another day for botching lazy UK staff and you have Friday as a solid date.

Mine should be here tomorrow, as it's in the country right now.

if you're in the 6828 im sure youll be fine. as its not just Wii orders they have. Your order is only 20 or so away from Lyris' and they do sell otehr things. I have an order of 6828X for a copy of Excite truck.

Mine's 6829X so hopefully I'll get it before the end of next week. All depends on how big their shipment is I guess.
