US Wii: Preorder Details Thread

I wanted to order a wired network adapter for my US wii, but the only place that has it in stock will only ship to my billing address for my credit card, and I'm not there at the moment I'll have to wait until playasia have more in stock. Why haven't nintendo released it yet? It's crazy, i literally want to give them fistfulls of cash for virtual console purchases but am being prevented by their sloppy hardware release. Plums.

As for availability of the Wii, I was in NY (both upstate and Manhattan) last week, and there were no Wii's available in the Circuit City I went to upstate, and in Manhattan, the Toys R Us in Times Square had none (and were still limiting people to one Wiimote and Nunchuk per person!)

I also hit Best Buy on 5th Avenue (42nd and 5th?) and that had no Wii's but some software available.

It better sort itself out in the next month as I'm over there at the begining of March and don't want to be spending most of my time scouring the city for a my belated Chrimbo present.

Come on, sort it out Nintendo!

I ordered pretty late, basically after VGP told me that I wouldnt be getting one from them.

Shipping was $60 CAD which is &#163;26.

Im actually considering selling it, as I have exams soon

I got mine on Monday (29/1) from DVDBO. It was ordered on 22/11/2006. Shipping was $CA69 via DHL. There was no charge to pay on arrival. So the final bill in proper money was 175 quid

Mine was posted on the Thursday and arrived on Monday. The price was marked on the invoice in the envelope on the outside of the package but it had not had any attention from customs. I got trauma centre with the console aswell

Halle-bloody-lujah...I got one at long, long last. To say I'm happy would be an understatement. Glee...

Was checking yesterday and even this morning but a hangover forced me back to bed but now I feel great...lol! Was so excited when I ordered it I managed to forget all the other games I had in my basket/wishlist so ended up ordering them as well...oops. Oh well can sort that out...
