SF2 Special Champion Edition on the Megadrive. I really can't say how long I spent playing that game. In fact, it scares me to think about it.

Most Addictive Game Ever?

Champ/Football Manager has an all consuming quality that makes it take it over your brain and allow no other thoughts until you have signed that player/ changed that formation/ slagged that manager off etc.
My multiplayer addictive votes go for Mario Kart on the SNES and Goldeneye, the amount of hours spent on those must run well into the hundreds. Sheer multiplayer perfection.

For multiplayer addictivness, my only expericences are with the dreamcast, taking in turns with Crazy taxi, endless sword fights in Soul Calibur, but mainly nights with no sleep and endless coffee and beer runs while playing Powerstone with three others; winner stays on. My sister got real pissed at us, being that her Husband was one of the three others.

Infact, I'm 100% sure I've spent more time on this game (across the formats) then any other.

Although there's many games I've been addicted to over the years, the one that comes to mind is panel de pon which I've been playing in its various incarnations for many years now. Most recently the four player Gamecube version which I have to avoid because I know if we kick off with it then we won't stop for many, many hours.

Disgaea and Disgaea 2 To me is the closest gaming can come to being a narcotic. Its the metaphorical gaming equilavent of heroin.
I've also plied lots of hours into Super robot taisen aswell, so that must have some kind of a narcotic like grip over me aswell.Last edited by AdamJW; 29-10-2006, 12:52.
