I dont own a hd tv.

In that case you most likely won't be able to make much use of a component lead. You can still pick up an Svideo or RGB SCART lead though and see some picture improvement.

k looks like the right telly for wii!
When they had wii on displays here in OZ ..they looked Blurry,, pretty ****e compared to this TV.

Good demo of component, but in other respects that lower shot looks awful!

Huge, ugly floor textures that don't blend into each other (see that HUGE line from where Link's right leg should be) and where is Link's right leg?

I've not opened my Wii box yet (still at work) and I'm not expecting 360 graphics, but I am expecting all Link's body parts to be there!

EDIT: Maybe the leg shown *is* the right leg, and the shot is just a funny pose mid swing... That must be the case.

Just got my Component cable from JPNGames, Composite was already alright on my Bravia S, but it's just another world when you enable 480p Glad the dashboard and VC stuff is 480p too.

There's a couple of Mad Catz ones, in the UK, on eBay just now. There's also a few official ones available from Japan which might be the route I go down instead tbh.

They're pretty expensive on ebay, which I guess is to be expected.

It's odd how the lack of a component cable has alone taken away much of my excitement for the Wii - which should be arriving in a couple of hours. I never had myself down as a gfx whore, but really hate playing games in composite and don't plan on loading Zelda up untill a component cable can be sourced.

i was gutted at my purchase, despite not preordering, because i didnt snag a component.

then after phoning 40 shops i got one, a madcatz one for 14.99. and i can finally relax.
