Yeah Composite already looked nice, but with 480p, suddenly the litttle details that were hidden behind the blurr and colour bleeding become visible. It's the little details that 480p improves As well as general clarity of course.

Don't know if anyone's posted this already, but the standard cable has everything* you need to make your own component cable.
*Apart from extra cable.
This presumes you are happy sticking paperclips into your Wii...

the problem with that hack is that you can't even purchase another composite cable, so if it goes tits up you are left with no cables whatsoeverComment

I pre-ordered the component cable from Amazon an age ago. My order says it will be despatched on the 7th. Needless to say, it hasn't/didn't. W*nk.
I've ordered another from GAME but I won't hold my breath.
To save me reading back thru 66 pages - did anyone manage to get an official cable from GAME or Amazon?Comment

I have a Madcatz one at home...picked it up with my Pre-order from Gamestation last night for ?14.99
Havent tried it out as yet but will let you know what it's like at some point over the weekend.

I've not looked at Samsung LCDs lately, but not as good. They have this image processing system called "DNIe" which adds fake sharpening to everything and destroys detail.Wonder how theyd be on samsung?

I am guessing you picked up the madcatz component cable not composite, in which case you don't need to mod the composite cable for component viewingActually there is.
