One thing, has anyone had any problems with VC games. I loaded up sonic and suddinly the image just went, had to reset the system - went back in and the VC game had reset itself and worked fine, went out - back into the game and did the same thing :\. Only happened with the new cableComment

Can I just say lol@anyone who refused to play their Wii til this cable turned up. It wasnt the composite cables fault everything looked like a gamecube game

That isn't the point. My Wii via composite looks considerably worse than my GC via component. I'll happilly play Wii Sports regardless of the looks, but wouldn't continue in TP untill a component cable arrived simply because I want it to be the best experience possible.
