Yeah, Wii Sports is okay over composite. Zelda though, it made me feel ill. Doesn't look so bad in the shadow world, but the rest is damn ugly. How much of that is down to the dated Gamecube visuals and how much is down to the cable though.... remains to be seen. Certainly the texture resolution is sub PS2 level for the most part.

After getting my cables today - I found it to be the former. It looks brighter on the components - but the textures are still poor and the aliasing on characters is really offputting for me. horses for courses, though. I think RGB is the way to go.

Zelda in particular looks poor over Composite and really requires Component, but at the same time, it does suffer more than other games even other Component.
I suppose it's because of the detail... Monkey Ball, Wii Sports and other more colourful, less detailed stylised games look fine even in Composite, and look really great over Component.

Zelda over Component also suffers from the same 'horizonal lines' problem that RE4 had.
Some people had a theory that the textures in RE4 were made with 480i in mind, and while I don't know if that's true or not, it suffers the same issues as RE4.

I recieved my official cable from YA today, no difference between it and my Mad Catz cable in terms of picture quality. Maybe the people who had green tint issues with the MC one have duff ones?

Yeah, I went right across Germany and France yesterday as I was there, and went into LOADS of shops to find absolutely ZERO.

It`s been put back a week as far as I know.


Still trying to find one... At least I got a Wii for me, and best m8 in Germany
