I would have thought that they'd have no problem taking that back as Nintendo seem to have little problem replacing a DS. That's odd. Have you tried going directly to Nintendo themselves?

having trouble as it was a japanese model, they would exchange it for a pal but i would have to pay up to a possible ?45

Well I don't think that there's any region difference but it would be nasty to have to pay ?45. That's a bit much considering they've been replacing them for free for a lot of people.

Edit: Just realised that the region difference might be a colour unavailable here. If that's the case, I'd keep the pressure on PA.

it was quite a while back and I emailed them every day for weeks and they wouldn't budge and got a bit nasty about it, hence me being pissed off at them.

noe said they could repair it or send a replacement costing anywhere between 25 and 45 depending on the damage (it was a navy one)

That's a shame about PA. I would have thought they'd have no problem getting a replacement for you at no extra cost to themselves. If I were you I'd probably pay NoE to get it replaced, write PA a letter outlining what happened and what it cost you and then I wouldn't buy from them again. That's just me.

I just belled Game, they say they are expecting the cables, but it's too late to preorder. I'll be there at 8AM on Friday then
