Best bet on launch day is to hunt down a Mad Katz third party Wii component cable it seems. Nobody is even 100% sure these exist, but to save myself enduring component on a HDTV it's gotta be worth a try looking for one.

Ordered one the day they went up, it's not going to get sent as it's not even at the 'picking' stage like my console and games (hurry up and send them! grr!). They still show the estimated dispatch date as today mind you, so you never know.

Just a quick note to people who ordered from Otaku. I have never had any customs from them. I have spent well over ?1000 with them over the last couple of years and everything is marked below $20 and as a gift. I can't vouch this for anyone else, but they have never let me down.

This is at least good for those of us who ordered them. It looks like they have taken it off because they have sold all their stock. They aren't like other websites that take your money and make you wait ages for dispatch.....PlayAsia, i'm looking at you...

Gamestation told me they will be getting their second batch on Monday, so hopefully you won't have too long to wait.

Mine showed up at work today from Play-Asia. Comes in a proper box, no blisterpack stuff. Won't get a chance to test it until tomorrow evening though :'(

Local gamestation have some cables in - but won't sell me one since i didn't preorder my Wii from them ... so I now have my Wii but no decent connection to my tv

ffs Nintendo, we all know you aren't embracing the hd generation with the wii but you could have at least provided us with decent bloody cables to connect our wii's up with

thats great news mate, tuesday is good for me tbh as i have just had a new pioneer dvd and av receiver to play with until then.

only a zelda/mario can get me like this over a launch tbh.
