Fair enough, you still can. I'll be ravaging some retro nintendo games

Is that all self funded, 33k?

I can't imagine anything will really come out asking for more than 10 or 15k in one go so if I were you I'd be snapping up anything decent whenever it's offered really, as opposed to saving them for something "megaton" special (I'm not implying that's what you are doing though.)

How do I link my ClubNintendo account to my Wii?

It'd help if you sorted your Wii connection, then you just have to follow the on screen instructions...

Well I'm hoping that now they are calling the service, Club Nintendo (even using the same logo) like the japanese version, that we'll start getting the decent freebies like the japanese get ( some hope )

Why, what do they get? Though Wii points will do me, I just wish they'd get on with it!

Loads of limited edition gear, like the DS Game and Watch collection (doubt we'll ever see it here )

All of my Nintendo stuff is USA or Japanese. I work in a game shop, so I pinch the V.I.P points from the second hand games. 90% of the stuff registered is actually owned by me though, it's just that I can't register USA or Jap stuff. I don't see anything wrong in what I do, as I have actually bought the games/consoles in the first place. I never pinch the points out of new games.

So you're saying there's nothing wrong in taking something from a paying customer?

It's not guranteed or anything to be in 2nd hand game boxes anyway.

As long as he doesn't do it with new games then there is nothing wrong with using those codes. Who even cares about the points? :P The only codes I have registered were the ones I got with my PAL cube with Zelda and Metroid Prime
