The only thing you seem to get by linking your japanese club nintendo account to a japanese wii is it gives you bonus club points when you fill out questionnaires for the virtual console stuff.

I used to take them out of second hand Nintendo games too, 9 out of 10 people dont even bother using them and just chuck em away.
Sod ya, buy new games if you want pointsThere's no guarantee for those points in second hand games and especially if there's someone who works around them who knows what they do

Just noticed on the Nintendo 24:7 site > My Stars details that I will soon recieve stars for downloaded VC content. Say 'Thank you for downloading 'Sonic The Hedgehog' You will soon be able to claim your stars here.'
Says this for both Sonic and Super Star Soldier under 'Products downloaded to date, but it's missing Mario 64 (which I got first) and Alien Crush (which I got before Sonic). hmm

I don't see anything wrong, the original person to purchace them didn't want them. I know through friends that GAME employees typical stick points on their own cards that the customer doesn't want. This is really no different. WHO ACTUALLY CARES ENOUGH!

It does not matter how the company values the game, you are still taking something without paying for it to the detriment of the paying customer who may well want to use it. It's theft and you haven't got the bollocks to admit it.
