Where the heck are the classic ps1 games, tomb raiders, resi games?
Other regions have them, heck jp psn got 6 more ps1 games today.
I dont see as many requests for these - are people just fed up of asking.

I think that's exactly it. Wipeout 2097 was rated years ago for PSN. People asked for it over and over and then... nothing. And that's a first-party Sony title.

You've got to assume that music is the reason that 2097 appeared. Although I imagine they would rather people bought Wipeout HD instead as well.

I have to say I'm not fussed about the classics. I think I've bought Symphony of the Night and that's it.

What's a good source for details of the JP store updates? I couldn't really care much about PS1 games on the UK store as I can easily obtain disc versions of most of those, but I love being able to grab JP PS1 games for pennies that cost an absolute fortune on eBay. Think I've still got some 2000Y on my account ready for whatever takes my fancy

Yep, I'd say you're probably right about the music. A real shame if that's what it was coming down to. It's a real classic and plays fantastic today.

I have not only bought quite a few classics, I've even played some of them. Bought (from the US store) and played through all of the Tomb Raider games. Played through much of Dark Forces though who knows why. Also played through Legacy of Kain. And the original Wipeout. Bought others (like FFVIII) that I have to now accept I'll probably never play again.

But I definitely appreciate the classics turning up on the store and do wish there were more of them.
