Why doesn't Sony want me to buy PSPGo games? Honestly we could have had Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Resident Eviul, Disgaea, Ghouls n Ghosts. It's bloody pathetic. I bet we're n ot getting these psone classics because they'd have to convert them to other languages due to us being stuck in Europe.

Actually yes I suppose the PSPGo situation is getting depressing but I think some of the games you mention haven't actually had UK releases yet so I guess they won't be coming for a while

On that note though, I'm certain NIS said that their UK releases (Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness etc.) would be added this week bu they are absent so I agree there is some disappointment to be had.

PSone classics are simply ISO dumps of the original games. There is no converting to be done. Whatever was on the original disc released in PAL territories would be the same as the classic release.

The guy who runs the EU blog has strongly hinted that it is up to original publishers to submit games for approval (rather than the decision falling at Sony's hands) but consideringt eh comments section is filled weekly with "Where are the PSone classics?" SCEE should be pushing publishers more to get these titles on there.

Actually Strider, in your position as Retro Gamer editor, you not got any channels open to you to question SCEE on the poor PSone situation in Europe?

So, does Loco Roco Midnight Carnival = Loco Roco 3?

Might as well spend this PSN credit on something and it's a new release.

Ditto. And LocoRoco is an instant purchase as well.

For PSP owners, this update is a bit cack in context of what's on the store at the moment. In terms of getting the PSP back catalogue up on the store and, yes, the PS1 games, Super Monkey Ball Adventure doesn't really show forward momentum.

Apparently they've said they're doing back end work on the EU PSP store (emphasis on back end, not any big surprise or anything) and there won't be any 'regular' sized updates until the 12th...

                  Utter joke.

But piss poor updates are their regular size updates.

Yipee Football Manager 10 is up to download, ive always had this on PSP, awesome.

Well so you would think until you see the price, £35 and 99 F****** pence.

£36 is an utter joke. There is no justification for that price in any way. Football manager games aren't exactly known for their high production values.

Imagine if there was no UMD release though, that would be the price you would have to settle for shocking. Pricing needs to have more incentive to go DD.
Oh and someone mentioned Half-Minute Hero earlier, it's due out Feb 2010 in Europe.

Is Football Manager 10 any good?

£36 is ****ing insane. And Sega's budget prices are so reasonable. Hoesntly what is going on with this service? I think games should be £10 less than their RRP making most titles £20 right?
