Sorry, I thought that was a statement due to the lack of question mark. I did mean it was more important to me. Thought it would go without saying around here

If you want a reaction, then fine. Another good score for FIFA and a better score for PES. PES had it's work cut out for it after last year's shambles, so it's all good whether you're a FIFA fan or a cultered PES fan. That okay for ya?

    Sorry for off-topics, everybody

"[It would] be great to make first-person games using similar tools, all from the same universe, or..." he told EGTV last week, before quickly reining himself in and adding: "I don't want to say too much, because we've got some very exciting ideas with that stuff."

Asked how he saw the franchise developing in the coming years, he said he hoped it would be "expanded and mutated in many different ways. We've got bucketfuls of ideas of how to expand it, so if we can keep it pumped with blood and people still into it then I can see it going all sorts of directions."

That reads as if they were going to send out Sackboy toys with all pre-orders? News to me.

I think there's been some maintenance on PSN today so that's probably not helping. I know I couldn't even launch the beta earlier today.

Uh-oh... paid expansion packs? That's a road I was really hoping they wouldn't go down. If ever there was something that could kill off the creativity, it's asking people to pay for the extra bits.

It's good to see that you are buying items rather than just a character as customisation is a big part of the game.

I'm no really seeing any problems with people paying for customisation items like this. Nobody really loses anything by not having them when it comes to the actual game. It's not really any different on a technical level to the charcter items that are being given away with the official magazine and to people who pre-order the game.

I wouldn't be surprised to see quite a few of these packs follow as I bet loads of people would pay for them. I'm hoping for a FIFA themed pack as a load of Sack Gerrard's would be fantastic!!!

I'm not overly keen on paid packs if they segment the community at all - if it's just characters and stickers, then fine; so long as they don't start selling new level making items.

I hope that if I buy a character and play with a mate who hasn't paid, he gets to see it. If the character is for your eyes only, it's pointless imo.

I completely missed that they were paid. Make that into .

Let the DLC rape commence, this is just the beginning.
You just knew they were gonna start charging for the most pointless stuff and then charge even more for ingame level items, just wait.

Joystiq are reporting Media Molecule have confirmed Beta levels will now be transferable to the full thing.

I hope they have the sense not to overdo it with this. These are both characters that will appeal to a very specific group of gamers - the general stuff is still going to be free (Along with whatever UG items the community comes up with).

I guess this also suggests that they had to pay for the rights? Either that or Konami/S-E refused to do it without some remuneration?

Either way, I hope the DLC charging is limited. Big mistake otherwise (Largely because I don't think too many will buy when there will be so much free content available).
