We know it's not your thing Boris, but that's not a reason to suggest everyone who does like it is taking bribes!

Besides, if it gets a bad score, we all know it's because MS have paid to get it marked down

This made me smile. It's too long, but enjoyable:

Does anyone know what the score is for bonus sackboy stuff in Japan? I know that over here he is called Libbitz, so that may account for the lack of info, but it seems that every preorder bonus or magazine bonus so far is just UK/US shops or UK/US magazines. Not to mention that the Japanese release is a week later (which sounds like it might exclude us from the astronaut outfit too??)

If i buy the US version...will i be restricted in any way playing it in the UK?

Just I can get the US version now for literally a few pounds more than retail.

        Thanks

I think people in the beta were restricted to their own region for multiplayer, although I'm not 100% on that, might of just been a beta restriction. The place selling the US version, is it an ebayer seller charging ?6.99 for second class postage and ?11.99 for first? I'd begrudge even buying it off him with those delivery prices if it is. Tbh i'd just stick with the UK one due the 24th, less hassle with DLC etc.

From what I gather its 20levels split into 3 as its 3 levels per area or theme so thats 60. I cant see whats subjective about the reviews they have all been good. If you dont like platformers dont buy it lol

Not every critic is the same. Metacritic offers aggregated game reviews from the top critics, and our own METASCORE pinpoints at a glance how each game was reviewed.

After trying the beta it seems to me that this game will get boring quite quickly all you can do in your levels is Jump and play with physics. Nice art style but this one is not for me either (casual gamers and young ones may really get into this though). The reviews do seem way to high for what it is - I reckon a re-review a few months down the line will show a totally picture.

Thiers more to just jumping though. Beta was only a sample so we dont know what we can do yet theirs bound to be more cool stuff in their to play with and use than even the mighty jetpac. Chuck in a complete level creator ontop of a good platform game then I cant see how it will get tiresome.

Filtering through a completely saturated community levels list to find decent ones you'd actually want to play again could become tiring. And that's what's supposed to extend the life of this game.

54 total apparently. 8 areas, 3 levels per area and 30 mini-game levels (With 3 difficulty levels, each of which you need to unlock, and many are far more complex than the tie jumping level).

If the community behaves as it should, this won't be a problem after a while. The best should float to the top and be easy to find.

So it's like every other platform game. Except with the addition of physics? I understand that some people won't like this game of course - maybe platformers seem "old" these days. I'm looking forward to the change of pace after all the shooters I play

I'm really not worried about finding the good stuff amongst the bad. It's not going to take too long before you know which creators you like and the creators they've hearted will be a good recommendation.

I imagine a lot of the levels that I heart are going to be recommended to me by friends anyway so it's not going to be too hard finding the good stuff out there.

Can't wait for the full game, I played a bit of the beta, but held off getting to into it as I wanted to enjoy the retail release more.

Does anyone know if they're going to improve the rating of user levels using stars or something rather than just words? as it doesn't really work very well in my opinion.

Awesome review. Glad they said they were concerned it may not still be incredible fun after a month of play, and it turns out they're still loving it. That must be good to hear for the naysayers who seem to think it's shallow or something.

As the review says, this is a cynical age.
