but many games and moives use n****r , f**k etc etc and that is OK, the 10 commandments movie is OK, all other religions slagging off most other religions and sub cultures, cultures or races is ok (COD4 hints at it), but mention that book (and, it is a book, just like the bible) and an innocent, fun, creative 'game' gets pulled.

I don't think they have bent over at all, they have done the right thing by them and well done to them. The game gets released a week or so later, so what?! It is not like it is not getting released at all.

Actually the book wasn't mentioned it was just some text from "the book".

I'm actually surprised at the lack of respect and understanding some people have for religious texts (one in particular obviously) on this here forum. You don't have like it or anything but at least have some respect for it. *shakes head*

Back to the game, I'm actually quite surprised something like this got through the testing phase!

I've just been informed that with the US version of the game..I will only be-able to play stages from other users with the US game...is that right.

Just a few people I want to hook up with are getting the PAL game...

I honestly don't think we'll know the full details until the game is out in all regions and the servers are online. Wonder if they'll delay switching the servers on as well...

Yeah, that was the initial assumption. Then there were stories that it would be locked, then more stories that it wasn't, then yet more that it is. I can't remember the order so I'm really not sure any more.

I'm not taking any chances, I'm more than happy to wait a week or three. MGS2 and Bioshock on the go, Dead Space and Fallout3 both due soon anyway (And FIFA coming in on my birthday) - plenty to do.

Personally i would of said like it or lump it. They dont seem to be complaining that there fellow muslims are making home made bombs and blowing people up in the name of there precious book, but seem intent to demand words form it are removed from what must be the cutest and least offensive game in the world

If Sony sees fit to remove something so slight then so be it. It's not like they're cutting huge swathes of content.

I don't think it's a problem, I was on the Japanese beta and thought I could only see Japanese levels, but I was able to play all the same ones that you guys were talking about. So if it was all one community in the beta it obviously will be in the full release.
