I'm a muslim, not a very good one and to be honest I probably wouldn't have even noticed the song and even if I did it wouldn't offend me in anyway. However I can understand that certain muslims (or people in general) might be offended by it and therefore can understand Sony wouldn't really want the bad publicity so for themselves they have made the right decision. Kind of pissed I don't get the game next week but hey ho there is so much more to play while we wait for LBP to be released. Comments like "the Quran spoke to them" don't really help the situtation and are kind of ignorant.

Just cancelled my hastily ordered copy from movietyme. I'll only get nobbed off if i have problems getting hold of dlc in the future.

Hopefully they'll shift the game to quiet week when there's nothing else out. too much to play over the next two or three weeks anyway!

For that to happen, it would be second week of December. There's just too many great games!

I'm letting mine run...see if they do anything. Its not the DLC that bothers me....i know sod all about servers and if what region of your game affects what...will I be playing with everyone e.t.c...

Update 2: UK site Electronic Theatre has obtained an updated mailout which shows the UK release date as October 31st. Funnily enough this is the game's original release date in the region, before it got pulled forward a week. Funny how things work out, isn't it?

In other news, it seems Movietyme won't refund the paypal payment for a cancelled order! The only option is store credit.

To change the data on the disks a 7 day delay seems very small. If true though the week after's PS3 charts might read:

I've just been informed that with the US version of the game..I will only be-able to play stages from other users with the US game...is that right.

Just a few people I want to hook up with are getting the PAL game...

Anyone put me straight, please...pretty please infact.
