If you can't control your pad, you should keep it on a leash at all times!

I get v. pissed off with games a lot of the time. Yelling stuff like "this is ridiculous" and "Oh FFS!" frequently. What most annoys me is when I die and I can't understand how it happened or when I perceive the game is being unfair in some way. I do wonder if it's the case of the bad craftsman blaming his tools.

The other day I returned to black and got stuck on the bridge level's second checkpoints. I died twice because of the mines (even though I knew they were there.) The first time was because of idiocy on my part, but the second time it happened because the mines were concealed by a part of the level.

I've only chucked my controller a couple of times. The second time I partially broke my Kasumi-blue Xbox S-pad - which taught me a lesson, I can tell you!

I tend to get pretty bad when playing Gears online. A few weeks ago I got so pissed off with one guy's 'magic' shotgun I threw my wireless controller across the room and broke the little catch that holds the batteries in

Just the one single time in all my life.

When I missed something like just under one second to get the gold time in the (tag) time attack mode on DoA4, I flung my controller up at my ceiling and landed on my carpet with a healthy bang to realise that the bottom right part of the pad split open and the vibration no longer functions.

Even worse, the battery pack suffered damage and the poor soul who has that pad will find her/himself viewing the 'please reconnect the controller' pop-up icon quite often.

I sold Dead or Alive 4 earlier this year so my rage won't resurface anytime soon, if ever again.

I think like everyone i'm normally calm and take the frustrations more as a challenge, ie i will not be beaten by a piece of plastic.

My 360 Wireless pad took some damage while playing Need For Speed Most Wanted, had a massive score after a 25 minute chase and then got cornered and lost about 4million bounty. I threw the controller into a cushion (which i presumed was thinker and more cushiony than it was) and the corner screw post snapped. Controller still works perfectly and should be able to fix with some glue anyway.

Got upset last night, 2+ hours on Hexic with 5 black pearls and 8 silver stars on the board the game threw a bomb at me that i couldn't get rid of.

In the past, i think R-Type was my most hated on the spectrum. Level 6 (with the blocks flying everywhere), countless times i got there and ended up whacking my fist on the keyboard, did this a few times and the membrane gave way in the end

Other than that i think i'm quite calm As said in at the top though, it's not so much the difficulty level that gets me, it's when a game completely f*cks you over, either by bad design or bad implementation.

P.S. Remember Presidents Run ? I got annoyed at that. With the rest of the gaming world i bet.

I used to suffer from a bit a Grage myself, I used to try and twist my pads in a vain attempt to snap them in half. Never managed it though ! Seem to of calmed down as I've got older though !

The video for the first few minutes was a bit dull and typical of (angry) teenage gamers but starting from 3:00, it is a laugh-a-second ordeal.

A fave childhood memory of mine is when I beat cpthooker (techymantis) at darts on his C64. He needed a double to win and missed and then I got the next double and won. He jumped up, grabbed the joystick upside down like a hammer and started to smash the C64 to buggery. Keys went spinning off into air while he shouted stupid computer over and over.

I was screaming at my monitor the other day "ITS JUST NOT FAIR" while trying to fight the black ninjas that throw fire shurikens at you in Ninja Gaiden, it was the point at which I got hit in the back with 4 fire shurikens and promtly exploded into a firey mess, its the fact you cant block them!!!!

I used to suffer really badly from "the rage" when I was younger, there are dents in the wall of my old room at my Ma`s from where I`ve launched NES and Master System pads at the wall. "NES Ninja Gaiden, DAMN YOU!!!"
When I progressed to the next gen, I became an expert at repairing SNES pads when Street Fighter 2 came along. I also remember having an issue with that cheating bastard Balrog. To throw a charge punch you have to press back on the pad for two seconds, this c**t was throwing two a second until I was dead so, I put my bare foot through an inch thick glass coffee table.

I`m 32 now and a thankfully lot more in control than I was back then, maybe it`s because if I break anything I have to pay for it myself and also things cost a damn site more now at ?35 for a new 360 controller.

Eventhough I don`t destroy things these days I find it almost nigh impossible not to swear when I die on a game, my cries of "FFS!!!!!!!" can be heard all over Manchester I`m sure.

Playing Gears of War with inept teammates often gets me shouting obscenities at players and has led to many people leaving negative feedback on my profile. I dunno what it is, I don't mind dying in CoD3 or GRAW because the rest of my team is **** and I don't mind coming last in PGR3 cat & mouse because my team is ****, but there's something about Gears. If my teammates are really bad I sometimes switch it off in disgust and it takes me an hour or two to realise I'm being a moron and it's only a game.

I've never noticed that to be honest dude. Compared to MadWindy you're an angel!

Last night I came close to "grage" wiht Gears. But I don't think I'll be playing it again.

A combination (in Annex) of slowdown and sticky cover whilst roadie running has just pushed me over the edge.

I was about to run away as someone picked a boomshot up, but instead of roadie running away, it roadie ran into cover, and I got boomshotted.

Used to get the rage quite a lot, only get it on certain games now...usually when I feel cheated.
