My (arcade) high score is 198,000,000. I was seeing meteors after closing my eyes, for weeks after that. I bought the game at launch and still play it now. It's great. Definitely the best PSN game ever!

I worked out why the in game store wasn't showing anything, it's because I bought the US version of the game and was signed in with my UK account. I only realised this after I bought the bloody addon pack from the UK store and wondered why it wasn't showing anything new in the game...doh! Anyway, just bought it from the US store and it's all good. Scratch what I said about the PSP version having new modes, they're basically the same as the addon modes. Looking forward to giving it a spin later.

Can someone tell me how to get the 'complete' version of this game? Do I need to buy The Full Game and the Complete Game Pack? What's different between the Complete Game Pack and the Double Pack?

The PSN content for this is certainly very confusing.

Anyway, I'm a bit miffed as I downloaded the demo, tried it and like it - but I have too much on my plate just now so didn't feel it was worth it.

The demo has added the full game to my trophy collection though! That sucks, I really hate seeing something there that I don't own (not to mention I hate seeing the 0% there as well!)

Slightly obsessive compulsive behaviour on my part but it might force me to buy it just so I can get rid of this situation. Am I crazy?

Nah man i'm the same. But im usually careful and play rented/borrowed games and stuff on my US account, so this doesn't happen. The one time it did happen was with Time Pilot on the 360. I forgot to switch profiles and so ended up buying the game as i couldn't stand seeing 0/1000. It bugs me. Than again i HAVE to have like the TV volume set to even numbers otherwise i wont rest

Yep, I did it - I caved in and bought it. I wonder if the people responsible for the demo knew about this compulsion that some people have..? crafty.

I usually buy everything from the Japanese store but in this case the UK has a 'all in one' download with the expansions for 20 pence more than the original game - Japan doesn't have that option. The same thing happened with Warhawk - it's really unfair.

By the way Skye, you need to get the 'Complete' pack that is listed under game add-ons - it's not actually an add-on, it gives you everything.

After a week of play I'm loving this, but by far the best thing about it is the soundtrack. It rocks! It's been a long time since I've heard a game with such catchy tunes.. .are they remixes of the amiga version music or something?

not sure if they're actual Amiga remixes, but I have to admit it sounds very much like tunes from the good old amiga days !

have to say though I play the game now always with a house remix to get into the ZONE !

Super Stardust HD 1080p or 720p?

My game is only running in 720p when several reviews state 1080p. Anyone else have the same problem?

My roomie and I got somewhere over 180mill in co-op, about 2,5 playthrough of the planets. There's always a meteorite or an unresponding boost/bomb-button..

I'm down to the last two trophies, Shock & Awe and the co-op one... it's funny, I read that Late Boomer is by far the hardest but I didn't have too much trouble there. Shock & Awe on the other hand is a freaking nightmare! Has anyone got any good tips for how to survive?

I read that shooting 3 of the green countdown mines causes nukes to appear, but it doesn't seem very reliable. Sometimes there's nothing. Am I shooting them too late or what?
