Yeah, I was a little disappointed that these were more tracks from Pure and Pulse but I guess that's exactly what WO HD was so it should be expected. And, yes, they seem constructed from the same pieces they used to make up the HD versions of the last tracks. And I think listing 'reverse' and 'forward' as if they're separate tracks when they didn't take the time to do the proper black and white versions from Pulse is a bit cheap.
But HD played well and new tracks will be welcome. The visuals still look great and it's difficult to come down hard on them for giving us more of the same when what it is being the same as went down so well to begin with.

Never owned a copy and not played it since, which was over 15 years ago? lol.........
Anyways, with all the buzz i keep reading and hearing about it, ive been patient long enough and NEED to see what i have been missing all these years.........
I think one of the reasons why i never sampled this 'gem' is because it was never relased on the PS2 (my first sony machine).
Im one of those who does not like to buy downloaded games, and prefers to have a hard copy. So this is all that i could ask for, and at a £19.99, it would be rude not to!

Good job you didn't bother with it, though, as it was pretty horrible with a nasty over-reliance on weaponry and sharp/practically vertical difficulty curve.
In its defence, it did introduce Zone Mode, though; as you'll find out, it's almost worth forgiving all of Fusion's other sins for.
Almost.

I could do with a bit of help regarding WipeoutHD, for those in the know. I bought the game when it came out and have it on my 60GB..but having just picked up a Slim for the front room I want to d/l it again. When logged in with the right profile I cannot find it to d/l on the PS Store, when I go to the game on the store I just get the Preview optionAny help would be appreciated

Well I'm a plum..lol
I had looked everywhere but in account management I had only looked in Transaction History but that doesn't give any inks to items it just lists them. Under that there's a section for downloads and when I looked on there it showed 4 items which happened to be the most recent I had got since I got the Slim so I assumed that's all that was on the list..I realised I could scroll down the list and there it was..

A bump of this thread and a not very nice bump either. Not sounding too promising for future Wipeout games which is gutting.
Apparently 80% of Studio Liverpool's gaming development has been cancelled/halted to work on other project elsewhere at Cambridge and other UK sony studios. I hope its not to waste time developing games for the wand or something
I only really know of the Wipeout franchise from SL so I don't know what these other games getting cancelled were?
