PGR4 is exemplary - I'll be surprised if GT holds interest once people have become desensitised to the graphics if the game is simply more of the same (which, from that quote, sounds very likely).

I think both FORZA II and no doubt GT5 pale or will pale to GTR 2 (where is the 360 port?) and Ferrari 355 when it comes to grown up racers .
But I tell you this much PGR4 will own most games online , because above all else its fun . And to me that counts for somthing .

Lets just hope GT 5 has decent AI this time . Somthing which seems to have eluded the series to date, still when you spent 99% of your time Modelling cars , something got to give

I thought he was joking. Perhaps not though. Isn't this more a platform question though? If you've got an Xbox, you'll be playing Forza (for sim stuff). If you have a PS you'll be playing GT. If you have both, you'll probably be playing whatever you played in the previous gen.

I still play Forza 2. I'm determined to finish that f**ker. Some of the long races get the better of me, though. Still a class game.

I still have room for another lovely looking GT game. PGR... great series, different type of racer imo.

There's more than enough room for PGR, Forza & GT and they are all very different games.

I was never that keen on the Forza games but that doesn't mean they are poor games, it just means that I'm not keen on them.

I'm hoping for a powerdrift style "jetfighter" mode. In fact the ability to fly around in a helicopter to survey the track would be pretty cool.

I guess the other positive about Forza and PGR4 is that you could go and buy a 360 and play the full games today instead of poring over screenshots.
