Set my JPN account up last night. Was a bit of a chore as I had to kind of do it in tandem with watching the USA video on youtube (link on the stinky in the PSN section). Will be worth it to get the demo though

I think the EU store must only account for about 5% of my PSN downloads. Even the wallpapers (which are just jpegs) get delayed. Lolz

Only just read (neogaf) that some of the new cars in the demo won't be available until 24th Oct - the day the JPN Motor Show starts, they will be in added in an auto update on the 24th apparently.

May just be the new Skyline or maybe some others also.

man this is getting pretty silly trickling all this stuff out, a demo of a demo of a full game mm, after gt hd that is.

I think the motorshow stuff comes out as the cars are unveiled which I think is pretty nifty.

Indeed, seems like a neat idea to me. Plus you can get video coverage of the Tokyo Motorshow through the game as well. Will be good to watch the car get launched and then be able to take it for a virtual spin.

Is that video coverage free though? I thought the TV show bits (like Top Gear etc...) were all paid for content?

I would imagine that in Prologue and full game the syndicated shows such as Top Gear will be pay to watch.

However, as this demo is specifically tieing in with the Tokyo Motor Show, I would assume coverage from there will be free, if only for the launches of the cars featured in the game.

Surely they won't be charging for Top Gear specifically, I didn't think they could charge for that (BBC and all)?

I thought the episodes were rentals in GT? Paying for them is no different to paying for BBC DVDs.

Is it full episode/DVD content though? I thought it would just be various bits and pieces about the cars in the game? I haven't been paying too much attention to that specific aspect of the game.

Yep, Top Gear is in it. And it's sizable content isn't it? I'm sure someone like Mr Holliss would be able to find a URL to all this info!
