[360] MotoGP 07 Demo

The bikes still sound rubbish and the chain still hasn't been animated. No purchase for me.

The sound sounds ( ) Brilliant to me! Ever since MotoGP3.

And the non-animated chain seems quite a minor issue considering this is the best representation of bike racing. (And you hardly ever see the chain anyway!)

The sound in 06 is weak too, why don't they just record the real bikes and use that in the game, other developers manage it with other types of games.

The chain bugged me in 06, it stands out like a sore thumb during replays and I thought it was a big oversight for all the other details in the game and I can't believe it's still not animated.

This doesn't really look any better than 06 to me and despite the improved frame rate and no tearing, it's just basically an updated roster with the new 800s.

I thought the bikes in MotoGP3,06,07 are all real recordings? It seems harder to make a noise up than just recording the actual bike.

nah, it's just a bloke in a studio going 'bbbbrrrrmmmmmmmm'....much more environmentally friendly these days

Really wish you could use the trigger buttons for accelerate and brake, using A & B seems so 90's nowadays. Roll on release next Friday.

You can change them, I always have done since the very first game

Lt - Brake
Rt - Accel
X - Front Brake
A - Rear Brake

After hating moto gp 06 with it`s shocking framerate, bland graphics and for some reason the handling didn`t feel quite right, I`m quite suprised I really enjoyed the demo with 07.

Framerate seems rock solid at 60fps now, the graphics look nicer with far more detail and little bits of animation goings of around the track which is nice. Also I don`t know if they`ve done anything with the handling but It seems to handle better than when i tried the 06 demo. Also tried a couple of online games which i really enjoyed.

Wasn`t even bothered about this before trying the demo but is a must have now when released next month.

Yeah, more people definitely need to try the demo. Next time you're on the 360, just click 'download' it's as simple as that.

It amazes me how people don't realise you can just kick it off then go play Pacman or Flatout SP or something while you wait - or just turn the machine off and go out/to bed and it'll be there for you next time you switch it on - There's still people out there who just seem to sit at the dash waiting for it to dload.

Not me - it simply doesn't offer enough that's different over other versions of this game. This is what 06 should have been and with MotoGP 1 + 2 now on the BC list ( 2 being the optimum version ), there's no way I'm going to pay full price for this.

NOOOOOOOoooooo you need to use the right stick !! It's how it was made to be played - leaves you with analogue braking on L/R which is sublime - try doughnuts holding L and vary how much you're holding it whilst adjusting the throttle on right stick - shows how advanced it really is.

That autobahn track is sublime - if they're all like that the "proper" tracks can GTF
