Just stuck the PS3 to watch telly and got message to say that the PSN was down for maintenance. That usually happens just before something new is added. Maybe we'll get an update during E3.

Um, I read the start of it! I wasn't sure if you had a UK model or an import. I've read it now though.

I had the same problem with a yellow light and they sorted it out straight away. The official notification with for a yellow light is a software issue rather than hardware and mine happened a couple of days or so after an update.

It's a pain in the arse that we have to risk (It's always going to be risky) updating as often as we do but I try to balance that out with it being would be more of a pain in the arse without the extra stuff I've had from the updates.

I have a problem actually, I can't login to my JP account any more because I have got rid of the 'orochikern at gmail dot com' address and changed it to my real name, are my purchases gone forever? I really need biohazard directors cut off there

any way to change your verified email address to a new one without the old account existing? ?? I hope so.

How many times do they let you share games? It's quite a few isn't it?

I'm surprised that it doesn't give you the option to deactivate the game on the same user ID. There's an option somewhere on the PS3 to deactivate games but I'm guessing you'd need to do it on the original PS3.

You could always give Sony a call or get one of your mates to deactivate it on their system for you.

I've had a look on mine, if you go to Account Management > System Activation (bottom option of 4) > PS3 System (top of 2) > Game (top of 2) > Activate System (top of 2) or Deactivate System (bottom of 2) and try which ever isn't grayed out you may be OK but I think you'll need to do it on the old system.

You could always stop being a tight git and pay the 2 quid or however much it is to buy it again!

Have you got it activated on a PSP too? Maybe it'll work if you deactivate that?

Nope, I haven't given that to anyone I can ask really can you deactivate individual games? I really have no way of buying it again, I can't even remember how I did it the first time, maybe with wirecard but I gave up using that ages ago. I think you can have it on 5 systems at most.

I've lost SOTN on my US account too, this'll be a lesson to not share too much without keeping count in future ^_^
