I really can't wait until next month when Kula World is released. That's an instant buy for me as soon as it's up.
I can remember buying G-Police, playing it & then ending up with nasty headaches. I'm with you on Kula World though - any idea of the exact day that it'll be released?

        Yes, im getting this aswell.

I had my ps3 a couple of days ago, i heard it was going to allow divx playback eventually. anyone know when?

I bought the amazing jumping flash. It sure brings me back.

I also got super stardust. I love it!

We don't have a date for DIVX yet, just that it's coming in a future firmware update. Assuming all the licensing issues are resolved I can't imagine it'll be too difficult to get it in there, so hopefully we'll have it within a few weeks.

Haven't had any connection issues for a while (Since just after 2.0 installed).

It seems that it's already in the firmware but we won't have access until the licensing is sorted out.

It'll possibly be just a 2.02 update for that.

It's in the firmware for SDK support apparently, not for playback.

                Just been playing Kula World...

I'd forgotten just how good this game was!

I can imagine myself spending a good few hours on this again. I've already got to bits where I'm thinking that it's not possible to get from one block to another...before realising just how simple it is!!

Good lord. Don't know if this is the right place to post this, but im astounded on how good ps2 games look on a ps3 via hdmi upscaled. Especially okami, i never did like my old ps2 output quality through component.

I feel sorry for the people that are buying the 40gb ps3.

Why is Castlevania Symphony of the Night not on the Euro PSN store?

Yeah I gotta credit Sony for that. It should be mentioned though that when the PS2 upscaling was first implemented, it was very poor. They seem to have secretly fixed it in a more recent update, and it looks real wicked.

Anyone who hasn't tried it since the original mediocre implementation should really give it another go.

i was just wondering if anyone can tell me is it best to enable cross colour reduction filter and rgb full range (full) and ypb/cb pr/ super-white (hdmi)?

                              Comment

Cross-colour Filter only actually applies to Composite, I believe.

The other 2 depend on your TV. On most TV's, RGB Limited Range will actually be the correct setting - this makes it output 16-235 colour range, which is what most TV's will be expecting over HDMI. Full enables the full 0-255 range, which is really only used on PC monitors, though some TV's do support display of full colour range. There are test images to tell you which to use, but as a general rule, only change this if you think your blacks look 'too black'.

SuperWhite confuses me, but I think the above applies for this too.
