Is it worth selling my Wii to people who are willing to pay a silly price for it and spend the profit on games for PS3 + 360 and buy a wii when they have gone back to normal?!

If you don't want a Wii then sell it. I'm sure there were people who did this last christmas and then discovered that the stock levels never picked up.

Thats what CEX charge for them pre owned, and it would appear they also rip Wii Sports out and charge an extra ?15 for that.

My best mate is in the Army and is coming home for Xmas. Guess what he's bringing me back from Germany . At least the missus will be happy at Xmas.

I came into posession of a Japanese Wii last night, but just the console and sensor bar. My cousin got scammed on ebay but never did anything with it. Although im not too sure if it works as i think he blew the power supply up.

quick question : Wii's are very available in France. How much French is on the packaging and menus?

There's some guy up here with 10 or so on eBay. Why are Nintendo limiting stock and stopping people buying them from the EU when there's people selling so many privately and ripping off customers?

No reason why any store HAS to export their goods, if they don't want to.

Illegal? In fact, no, thanks to moronic UK law, that allows company independently to decide are the paraller imports of its products allowed in UK. This is the same law that was used on both PSP and CD-Wow fiasco's. If I remember correctly, law was set when certain companies imported dirt cheap Levi's from Hong Kong, and sold them for cheap in the UK.

I was down the local Indie yesterday, and he said the Wii had outsold the xbox 3 to 1 and Playstation 4 to 1.

They had stock issues 6 months back, with just 2-3 a day, now they are shifting about 10 a day, with 5 on the shelf.

So I don't think Ninty is doing so bad, I just think the supply is good.

Are we sure the UK isn't getting shafted on supply because of it needing the 3 prong plug or something trivial? All other PAL machines are identical.

The pallet of machines has also now been reduced!

Nintendo are making just shy of 20 million units a year, i would say it is demand that is keeping them out of stock as that seams like a god number to me.

Anybody that wants one CEX are selling pre owned ones for ?300 yes ?300 without Wii Sports.
