Trying to give Gearbox a break here but they just took on too much. Brothers in Arms Hells Highway wasn't even out the door when they signed the deal, the as mentioned Borderlands 2 was in development and they also started work on the abandoned Duke Nukem Begins - if those papers in the 3DR/T2 court case are to be believed. A lot of bad decisions! I still think they're a very competent developer they just bit off far more than they could chew.

I feel more sorry for the poor sods that dropped 40 of their hard earned on it, thank **** the Wii-U version was delayed or I would have been one of them. They didn't bite more than they could chew they got greedy simple as that really.

Is a Kotaku rumour though, from one of its writers.

We heard from a tipster about a month ago that the Wii U version had been "postponed indefinitely." We reached out to Sega, and they denied it. I'll let you guys fill in the blanks there.

It wouldn't surprise me... it's not really worth them releasing it now really.

The reviews are out, sales on the current formats are likely to be abysmal, so why go to all the expense of another release in a couple of month's time. It's not like the game will be improved at all, even if all the patches and DLC are included on the disc. I'm actually quite glad the U version was delayed now.

The funniest posts are the ones by members saying that people who bought the game have themselves to blame for choosing to preorder the game. Yes, because when a game is released that is universally panned, it's clearly not the developer's fault... [/sarcasm]

Lol - take the bugs out off the game, improve the framerate and that actually looks decent to me! Surely a few for patches could smarten it up abit?

Think alot of the moaning is coming from alien fans who are annoyed with tinkering with the backstory/aliens universe
